The
Work of Mike |
| Mike
started his creative career in film as a graduate student at OSU. |
|
Two
Films Resulted:"Boyd Stevens' South Side" was nominated for
a student OSCAR and won a CHRIS Award in 1974. In 1975, "Landlord
and Tenant" was funded by the NEH. Social documentaries, not radio. |
|
|
Two
PBS Documentaries resulted from Mike's radio interest. "Radio Collector,"
a 5-part series, was nominated for a Los Angeles Area EMMY in 1985. It
lost. But it was Radio. |

One
more thing: Mike has always been a "closet musician." But
alas, his all-accordian CD and his brief stint as a wedding organist
were destined to fail. Why? It wasn't about Radio. And, he didn't
practice. |
